Ik ben op zoek naar een oud Engels schoolliedje/gedichtje die mijn moeder vroeger heeft geleerd en waar ze héél graag nog de tekst van wilt weten. Ik hoop echt dat iemand de rest van het liedje/gedichtje kent, zo gaat het:
There once was a beetle
who went for a walk
Ev’ry day at a quarter to nine
He’d study the sky
with his beady black eye
To see if the weather was fine
And if it were wet
his umbrella he’d get
